Repatrio.today is a comparison and intermediation platform. When a family loses someone abroad, we put their request in front of verified funeral repatriation companies and let them compare real offers, in their own language, without calling twenty firms one by one.

What Repatrio.today does
- Collects a single request from the family and sends it to funeral companies that cover the route.
- Presents the offers side by side, with the price and what it includes written out.
- Holds the payment until the family confirms the repatriation was carried out.
- Keeps a written record of the case, so there is proof of what was agreed.
The contract for the repatriation itself is between the family and the funeral company. Repatrio.today is the intermediary that brings them together, handles the payment and stays involved if something goes wrong.
How a case moves through the platform

The family sends one request
Where the person died, where they are to be brought, and any detail the companies need in order to quote. It takes a few minutes and costs nothing.

Verified companies answer
Only companies we have checked can see the request. They reply with a price and a description of what the price covers.

The family chooses and pays into the platform
The money is not sent to the company straight away. It is held until the repatriation is confirmed as done.

The money is released, or returned
When the family confirms, the company is paid. If the case falls apart or there is a dispute, we look at the written record and decide.
How companies are verified
A funeral company cannot simply sign up and start receiving requests. Before a company is approved we check the following.
- The company is legally registered, and the registration number matches the public company register in its country.
- The company is authorised to carry out funeral services and international transport of the deceased.
- The contact details, address and bank account belong to the registered company, not to a private person.
- The company accepts our code of conduct and the terms that govern how it treats families on the platform.
A company that misleads a family, misses what it promised, or behaves badly can be suspended. A suspended company stops receiving requests and cannot log in.
What it costs, in plain numbers
We are paid by commission. There is no subscription and no listing fee, and we do not take money for placing a company higher in the results.

Both figures are shown before anything is paid: the family sees the total before confirming, and the company sees exactly what it will receive before accepting. Card processing fees are included in these percentages.
